Senior Teen Brandon Holmes receives The Field School’s “Skills of Mind” Award for Academic Excellence
Senior Teen Brandon Holmes (Mom Loretta Polk) received The Field School’s “Skills of Mind” Award for Academic Excellence, one of three awards given to members of the junior class each year. The award, which is based on input from the teachers, goes to the student who not only has a stellar academic record but “pushes himself with each assignment, taking each paper, project and presentation to the next level of understanding”. Brandon also was recognized for completing the Folger Shakespeare Library High School Fellowship program, where he was one of 15 students selected in the DC metro area to study Shakespeare’s works from a literary and theatrical perspective. Congratulations to Brandon.
