The Shepherd Elementary Field was busy with lots of happy, active moms, dads and children of all ages on April 28. Family Fitness Day activities included basketball, soccer, flag football, Zumba and boot camp. Our families received special remarks from the Office of the First Lady of the United States and Mayor Vincent Gray, and Councilmember Muriel Bowser participated in a Zumba classs. Thanks to the Committee and April host moms for making this event such a success.
